In October, 2003, when we worked with Dean Gary of Re/Max 3000 on our first transaction together, I recall being highly impressed. I assumed you had many years of experience in mortgage lending because of your unique standard of service, responsiveness, and product knowledge.

With 14 years title insurance sales and management experience and an MBA, I feel a great appreciation for attention to detail, commitment to customer service, professionalism, and knowledge. Working with hundreds of mortgage loan officers over these years, you are among only 3 to whom I will refer a friend or family member. You've consistently gone above and beyond in your service, and more specifically, you proved your patience and professionalism in helping my father with his mortgage needs.

Not only do you demonstrate a consultative approach guiding your clients into the best mortgage product that will suit their needs, but you do so without any self-serving motivations. At times clients may realize that too late, i.e., on Hubbard, the borrowers decided to choose another lender based on false promises only to find at closing that you alone had acted in consideration of their best interests and spoken the truth.

Over the past year, you've successfully closed a broad array of loan products, yet I was most impressed with your wok on the Hunt loan. You made the impossible possible! I recall telling you that the loan would never close because of the overwhelming challenges we faced in providing insurable title. Yet when I thought it might be better to give up, you maintained your composure and saw it through to a successful closing. I know the relatively small amount you earned on that loan in no way compensated you for your time, but that has never been your motivation. Your focus has always been on what's best for the customer.

In case you hadn't fully recognized how impressive your standard of service is, my observations are that:
You personally meet with your clients at whatever place and time is convenient to them.
You take the time to explain the steps your clients need to follow in a purchase or refinance, and answer questions in a manner that was very easy for them to understand.
You personally manage each phase of the transaction from start to finish and post-closing.
You respond to many phone calls promptly and completely.
You've attended each and every closing except (1) when your child was extremely ill, and (2) when the IREA utility truck collided with you on the way to the closing.
